The church of St John, Barham, in Kent near Canterbury, has been a focal centre of the community for over a thousand years and, with continued support locally, will be so for many more.

And this is where we need your help.

The church does not receive any grants or subsidies to maintain the fabric of this historic structure - it is totally reliant on the community.  And, as part of the local community, this is where the ‘Friends of Barham Church’ becomes vital as a fund raising group.  The organisation works continuously towards obtaining funds through membership subscriptions and events, the proceeds of which all go to helping with the repairs, decorating, and maintenance of the church.  And by way of some measure, over the last 10 years FoBC has raised and donated over £66,000 towards the costs of maintaining our church.

So, please become a member and make a donation - it's really simple.  Just download your form here, complete it, and hand it to a committee member.

Or, you can become a member online here. On registering, any personal data we have about you will be kept secure and used only as outlined in our data Privacy Statement (see here) - basically for communicating with you and for processing the gift aid element of any donations made.
